The best thing about Bali is that you can pack practical and fun looks and still feel stylish. So I have included a few pieces that I think you can wear while vacationing in Bali.
General Clothing Tips
Bali is located about 8 degrees south of the equator. Above all, that means the weather is typically tropical, warm, and humid climate all year around. So wearing loose fitting clothing is definitely a must. So dresses are an easy item to pack and there are tons of options when it comes to comfort. But be aware that if you plan to visit the Hindu temples like the one we visited, you have to dress more conservatively (knees and shoulders covered). If you don’t wear either, you will be provided a scarf for coverage before entering the temples.
The Perfect Dresses to Wear in Bali
This printed Zara dress is ideal for visiting temples. On the other hand, if just taking a stroll through the town, hanging around the resort/hotel, or enjoying a meal at the local restaurants both the Madewell green tank dress and the Zara khaki dress would be perfect.
The Perfect Shorts and Blouses to Wear in Bali
If dresses aren’t your thing, shorts are definitely a perfect item to take and of course, easy to pack as well. Loft is my go-to for shorts. However, I wouldn’t wear jean shorts in Bali…it’s hot there and jeans can feel a bit heavy in such humid weather. Loose fitting and light weight tops are essential as well. For instance, Loft is my favorite place to shop for reasonably priced blouses/shirts.
The Perfect Accessories to Wear in Bali
If you plan to walk a lot, walking in comfort is important; therefore, comfortable sandals and espadrilles are great for Bali. Similarly, if you plan to do a lot of walking Eileen Fisher or a similar style might be the best option. And don’t forget your swimsuits and shades!
